A DROWNING GUILT
ALL THIS AND MORE
DEATH SONG
RAIN POUR DOWN
She's overcome with guilt
She's drowning in the shame
but doesn't she know
she isn't the one to blame.
Dark clouds all around
Silence fills the cold air
fear is closing in
but does anyone really care?
She's looking for a sign
She's looking for a way
to ease a troubled heart
She doesn't want to stay.
She needn't ask for help
cause you can see it in her eyes
all the pain is showing
from all the years and all the lies.

Darkness all around
I cannot breathe
Won't you come Lord
rescue me
I failed you so often
I would fully understand
if you said no
and turned away your hand.
I'm thankful to know
you aren't that way
so I'm asking again
Then I hear you say
Come My Child
I'll Hold you once again
come inside my house
there's shelter from this rain
I'll wash away your fear
if you'll just tell me this
why wouldn't you stay
When I offer you all of this?

Black dying death overcomes me
attacking conquering and beating me
Fear forboding, heart pounding
aching mind is pondering
restlessness melancholy
demise being fed
torpor and malady
are stopping me dead
Foolish proselytism where did I go wrong
wicked nihilism death sings my song
black and blue oh what am I to do
blood drops mix with the dew

The Rain falls on this soul of mine
These tears from heaven they pour down
for I am sinful and way off course
my life is torn from end to end
These stormy seas we call life
have battered this heart of mine
from birth -- to now -- until death
I shall fail till nothing is left
Nothing, is all my God needs
to plant these new harvest seeds
with rain and love I'll grow to be
all that God desires of me.
So the rain is all part of the plan
Tears of joy and a mighty hand
love grows and the seeds they sprout
The love of God we're never without.
